It was fine. If you love the original you will enjoy this. But, making this live action didn't bring anything unique to this story. It was mostly CGI so it was basically more realistic animation. The acting wasn't great, so that was a detractor. It was too long for what it was too. Using the Rock for both versions underscored the needlessness of a live action Moana.
